Valeria tells us about herself with a simple Q&A

Q1 Who is Valeria?

Born in 1989, Valeria is an Italian-Russian, entirely self taught artist, who decided five years ago to make a change in her life and move to London. Valeria was once on a promising corporate path, but after a deep disappointment due to stress, the lack of creativity in the environment she was working in and the lack of impact she felt, she was making, she quit. Now she makes art and she is motivated to make a genuine impact through her creative projects.

The purpose of her art is to stimulate a connection between the people and the beauty of life.

Q2 Where do you get your inspiration?

What inspires me is the beauty and elegance of the female form. I like to capture the essence of a woman.

We live in an era where art created by woman is becoming way more significant and it focuses on dismantling inequality and injustice.
I would like to inspire other woman like me to believe in them selves and to live the life THEY choose.

Q3 Did you have any formal training?

I am self taught.

Q4 How would you describe your art?

Valeria is known for her Acrylic Portrait art with abstract elements.
The dynamic, the vibrancy and fabulously colourful elements are the highlight of her artworks.

Q5 What does Sentiment mean to you?

Sentiment is an idea which is painted and coloured by our emotions. It is the best of the gifts which makes us so privileged and meaningful.
