Andrei tells us about himself with a simple Q&A

Q1 Who is Andrei?

Andrei was born in 1986 in Ploiesti, Romania.

He started creating as a child, His distinctive personal style emanates joy and peace and expresses the vibrant spirit of the universe.

Andrei is an original abstract artist who creates in a variety of media, oil on canvas, watercolor, graphics, digital art, street art, murals, object design, etc. Sometimes he combines them in surprising and fresh works of art.

Q2 Where do you get your inspiration?

From the Universe. Creation Itself is expressed through me in this way, through art.

Creation is expressed through each man, through himself and the instruments at his disposal.

Q3 Did you have any formal training?

I started creating as a child, later I finished the art school in my hometown, after I studied at the University of Art in Bucharest, Faculty of Decorative Arts and Design, where I obtained an MA (2011) in interior design.

Q4 How would you describe your art?

The artworks which I create are developing by themselves. I call this act ‘flow’. Art comes without controlling it by thoughts. Art, itself, is a meditation: no thoughts, no similarities, no artistic canons, just pure instinct and devotement to the feeling itself. Trusting that the colours will be in perfect harmony and also letting them impress me.

‘The flow’ is like water. And so are we. Any artistic act is in permanent expansion. They let you feel that they are living, they have a permanent movement.
When I search for our connection with the Universe I find joy. I am impressed by nature, by the connection with the Universe and spiritual evolution.

The line is sharp, accurate and spontaneous, you can imagine it as a dance movement. Avoiding geometric shapes each creation is organic, like the Creation Itself.

Q5 Which artists inspire you?

In what I do, I don't feel inspired by a specific artist.

I can say that I appreciate BrâncuÈ™i and Kandinski for the way they perceived art and how they related to creation.

Q6 What does Sentiment mean to you?

I am glad that over time I have noticed this phenomenon: people have admired a work for a long time before it was purchased by someone. Everyone took from that work that something that made them happier that day and that's how I feel about this project. It is this idea of sharing the emotion behind the painting to people.

I resonate with the idea that a work can reach 1000 people.

This collection can be an inspiration for humans in this period that humanity is going through.
